Previous ICSC was organized in Europe\, USA\, Australia\, Japan and China\, etc. However\, participation of chemists from emerging countries has generally been modest due to the relatively high costs of registration\, accommodation and transport. \nThe 39th ICSC-2025 will be held for the first time in Africa under the leadership of the ISC Steering Committee\, this (in addition to the low participation costs)\, will encourage African and Middle Eastern young chemists to participate.\nIndeed\, the Chemical Society of Tunisia (TCS)\, which is the main co-organizer\, maintains strong cooperation links with Arab chemical societies (in particular North African)\, and with The Federation of African Societies of Chemistry (FASC). Holding this conference in Tunisia is certainly relevant since Tunisia is known for its mineral-rich salt lakes\, phosphate and derivatives\, olive oil\, some oil activities\, desalination processes and pharmaceutical industry\, etc. \nVisit the conference website http://www.sctunisie.org/icsc2025/\n\nContact\nJalel MHALLA\, Chair of Program Committee\nFaculty of Sciences of Monastir\nUniversity of Monastir\nMonastir\, Tunisia\njalel.mhalla@fsm.rnu.tn or jalel.mhalla@gmail.com \n\nLatifa LATROUS\nUniversity of Tunis – El Manar\, Tunisia\nlatifa.latrous@ipeiem.utm.tn \nAmine MNIF\nUniversity of Tunis – El Manar\, Tunisia\namine.mnif@fst.utm.tn \n\n  \n— \nSee 2023 event URL:https://iupac.org/event/39th-international-conference-on-solution-chemistry/ LOCATION:Monastir\, Monastir\, Tunisia CATEGORIES:International Conference ATTACH;FMTTYPE=image/jpeg:https://iupac.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/20250914_logo-sct-fr.jpeg GEO:35.7642515;10.8112885 END:VEVENT BEGIN:VEVENT DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20251130 DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20251206 DTSTAMP:20250811T063543 CREATED:20250610T091850Z LAST-MODIFIED:20250610T092225Z UID:28410-1764460800-1764979199@iupac.org SUMMARY:Chemistry: A Window For Change DESCRIPTION:45th NATIONAL CONVENTION OF THE SOUTH AFRICAN CHEMICAL INSTITUTE \nSACI-45 marks a long-standing series of scientific meetings focused on research in the chemical sciences performed in South Africa and further afield under the auspices of the South African Chemical Institute. The content of Chemistry education research (CER) ranges from understanding the history and philosophy of chemistry\, which guides on us how chemistry knowledge was developed\, to the application of emerging technologies and tools for more effective teaching and learning of chemistry. CER has grown as a field substantially over the past 60 years but is still a relatively young subdiscipline of chemistry. Although substantial progress has been made in identifying evidence-based strategies to support the teaching and learning of chemistry\, we have yet to realize widespread systemic change regarding how chemistry is taught at the secondary school and tertiary levels. Connecting chemistry educators at the secondary education level with chemistry education researchers in academia has never been more vitally needed\, and yet these groups are still frustratingly divided. \nConferences\, congresses and symposiums in CER serve as a medium to bring together practitioners and researchers to exchange ideas and recent developments. ICCE is one of the leading biannual conferences in CER initiated back in 1969 by IUPAC and ECRICE is the European equivalent run by the Division of Chemical Education of EuChemS. Turkish Chemical Society (TCS) organized the 18th ICCE in 2004 and also the 9th ECRICE in 2008. The joint organization of 28th ICCE & 17th ECRICE (ICCECRICE 2026) will bring the experience of ICCE and ECRICE back to Türkiye\, which had been experienced in 2012 in Rome-Italy. \nWe welcome all chemistry education researchers from all over the World in Erzurum\, Türkiye on July 13-17\, 2026. \n  \nICCECRICE 2026 Chair:\nProf. Dr. Mustafa SÖZBİLİR\, Atatürk University\,  sozbilir@atauni.edu.tr \nSecretariat: iccecrice@atauni.edu.tr \n  URL:https://iupac.org/event/chemistry-education-iccecrice2026/ LOCATION:Atatürk University Campus\, Erzurum\, Turkey CATEGORIES:International Conference ATTACH;FMTTYPE=image/png:https://iupac.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/ICCECRICE2026.png GEO:39.9054993;41.2658236 END:VEVENT BEGIN:VEVENT DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20260728 DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20260801 DTSTAMP:20250811T063543 CREATED:20250701T070112Z LAST-MODIFIED:20250701T070356Z UID:28522-1785196800-1785542399@iupac.org SUMMARY:51st World Polymer Congress – MACRO2026 DESCRIPTION:details coming soon at macro2026.org \nRusli Daik\, Chair\, MACRO 2026\nrusli.daik@ukm.edu.my\n \n  URL:https://iupac.org/event/51st-world-polymer-congress-macro2026/ LOCATION:Kuching\, Kuching\, Sarawak\, Malaysia CATEGORIES:International Conference ATTACH;FMTTYPE=image/png:https://iupac.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/macro2026_sq.png GEO:1.5533785;110.359503 END:VEVENT BEGIN:VEVENT DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20260915 DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20260918 DTSTAMP:20250811T063543 CREATED:20250527T191604Z LAST-MODIFIED:20250527T192117Z UID:28358-1789430400-1789689599@iupac.org SUMMARY:26th Isoprenoid Conference DESCRIPTION:This conference historically brings together natural products chemists from around the globe and shows searching\, research\, utilization and biological activity of natural products\, namely\, the isoprenoids. \nThe 26th Isoprenoid conference will be organized at Novotného Lávka buildings on the Vltava river bank\, close to the Charles Bridge.
